Analytical Dashboard

I can explain that an analytical dashboard is a visual representation of key performance indicators (KPIs) or other important metrics that are used to monitor the performance of a business or organization. An analytical dashboard typically consists of charts, graphs, and other visualizations that are designed to provide real-time or near-real-time insights into the performance of a business, team, or individual.

Data Story

On the other hand, a data story is a narrative that uses data and visualizations to convey a message or tell a story. Data stories typically focus on a specific question or topic and use data to provide insights and support the narrative. They may be presented in a variety of formats, including presentations, reports, or interactive visualizations.

Dashboard vs Data Story

While both analytical dashboards and data stories are used to communicate insights and information, they serve different purposes and are designed for different audiences. Dashboards are typically used by executives, managers, and other decision-makers to monitor the performance of a business or organization and make data-driven decisions. They are designed to be easy to read and quickly provide a snapshot of key metrics.
